Alpine Snowsports is a small but dedicated team of Anglo-Antipodean ski instructor/coaches who have many years experience teaching skiing in Chamonix and around the world.
Our lessons are taught in English (but are happy take them in French as well). We are all internationally qualified and between us have the following:
- BASI ISTD Level 4
- French Brevet d’Etat d’Educateu Sportif – Ski 1ere Degree
- Alpine Development Coach Level 2
- European Mountain Safety Level 4
- ISIA – International Ski Instructors Association
Caroline Watters
Caroline has been in Chamonix for 14 years and has a great knowledge of the ski areas in and around the Chamonix valley. She has also managed to teach in Andorra, Italy, Austria and managed a few seasons as a ski patroller in Australia - where she found her husband and dragged him over here!
Glenn Watters
Glenn has also spent 14 years in Chamonix, year round, and has an excellent knowledge of the area, particularly the back-country and has a good line on which pubs are hot! He has managed to ski and work in Australia, Canada, US, Andorra, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and as well as teaching skiing he has been known to doing things like driving piste bashers, making artificial snow and pretending to do a lot whilst actually mostly skiing.
