A British skier has developed a revolutionary new ski to assist beginner and intermediate skiers in their quest to conquer the slopes.

Incredibly the design was inspired by a shark swimming through the water, whilst visiting an aquarium designer Rony Shirion was immediately struck with an idea - If a fish uses its tail to swim though water then why does a ski not do the same thing? As we turn on skis we want to feel that smooth transaction from turn to turn and that’s just what Rony wanted to achieve with his new ski.

It has taken several years of design and testing but the ski is being tested and is near to production.

We are hoping to test some this winter in Chamonix, if we do then we will let you know what we think.
