The British ski racer Noel Baxter has announced his retirement claiming costs, support and injury problems. He is the younger brother of Alain Baxter, who retired a few years ago and he has been a fixture on the British team for some time.

During his World Cup career he manged to score points in slalom, one of only three British men to have done so since the World Cup began in 1967.
